Primary School Program

Daily Schedule for Primary

8:45-9:15 Arrival

9:15-9:45 Circle (introduce new projects, literacy activities, sharing)

9:45-11:15 Work period
Students are introduced to new work and have the opportunity to practice work already presented. Areas of presentation are: math, language, practical life, sensorial, care of the environment, care of the self.

Snack is individual as desired.

11:15-11:30 Second circle (sharing, getting ready for outside time)

11:30-12:00 Recess for half day students
Lunch for transitional students

12:00 Dismissal for morning students
Arrival for afternoon students
Lunch for full day students

12:15-12:45 Circle for afternoon students

12:45- (open) Rest for full day (some children fall asleep, after 30 min. other students may begin projects quietly)

Snack is individual as desired.

12:45-2:15 Work period (afternoon students)
Students are introduced to new work and have the opportunity to practice work already presented. Areas of presentation are: math, language, practical life, sensorial, care of the environment, care of the self.

2:15-2:30 Second circle (sharing, getting ready for outside time)

2:30-3:00 Recess

3:00 Dismissal

3:00-5:30 Daycare (outside play on nice days, inside play with additional art and manipulative building activities provided. Group snack is provided)
