Admissions Policy and Philosophy

One of Woodside Montessori Academy’s goals is to continue to develop a program focused around the Montessori philosophy of education and to develop a community who values and shares in this goal.

Woodside Montessori Academy does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, religion, cultural heritage, national origin, political beliefs, disability, marital status or sexual orientation in the administration of its educational, admissions, hiring and administrative policies.

Application and Admissions Process

Step One: Information Request. Please call or complete the inquiry form. We will send you our informational brochure that includes our application and information regarding tuition.

Step Two: Parent Observation. This provides an opportunity for a prospective parent to tour our campus and actually sit in on a class and see first hand how the Montessori philosophy is implemented at Woodside Montessori Academy. Tours and observations are scheduled through our main office (508-376-5320) by appointment only and will begin in October of 2007.

Step Three: Written Application. After visiting the school, an application form along with any other required forms must be completed and returned with the application fee.

The application form and other required forms can be downloaded here.

For Elementary and Middle School students: Please submit two letters of recommendation with your application.

Step Four for Elementary and Middle School students only: Visiting the classroom – Upon receipt of the application, our admissions director will call to set up a time for your child to visit the classroom. We ask that prospective students spend two consecutive days in the appropriate classroom. This provides the opportunity to determine if Woodside is a good fit for all involved – the student, the prospective parent, and the Woodside staff.
